Why Johnny STILL Can't Read!

Children in public schools have had trouble with reading for the last 20 years. We know if a child cannot read by the 3rd grade that their chances of not finishing high school are increased. About three years ago Tennessee adopted a "NEW" reading program. The end result was lower reading scores for the children for Tennessee. Our public schools don't seem to have the answer to children's reading problems. The Wall Street Journal reports that last year, children in reading and math only got a 70% chance of becoming better readers due to the COVID virus epidemic. Our schools don't seem to have the answer to children's reading difficulties. You can't continue to repeat the same instruction over and over again and expect better results. Reading scores have not improved in Tennessee for the last 20 years.

Could we be missing something? Have you heard of Intermittent Central suppression? (ICS) This is a repetitive loss of sensation in central vision that occurs every 2 to 3 seconds. It is remediated in about 30 hours. Download the 5 page study about 37 High School dropouts enrolled in an Adult School trying to get a GED. Ninety-seven percent had ICS. Where were these students 10 years ago? They were sitting in a remedial reading classroom trying to learn to read better. ICS is a treatable condition and can be remediated in about 30 hours of treatment.

Summary Of The Pilot Study…

Thirty Seven students were enrolled in the program. 97% tested positive for ICS. Ten students volunteered to be treated.

76% were cured and became excellent readers in just one month.
